When is Sindoor Khela at BSS in 2026?
BSS Sindhur Khela is at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, the final day of BSS Durga Puja. The programme begins with Dashami Puja at 6:00 AM, followed by Sindhur Khela, Bhog from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM and Shanti Jol at 7:00 PM.
Sindoor Khela is the common search spelling; the official BSS programme uses Sindhur Khela. Both refer to the same Bijoya Dashami tradition.

What is Sindoor Khela?
Sindoor Khela is a Bengali Vijayadashami tradition associated with Maa Durga's farewell. Traditionally, married women offer sindoor to the goddess and then apply vermilion to one another. The colour and celebration sit alongside the emotion of Bijoya: Durga Puja is ending, families exchange greetings and the community prepares to say goodbye until the following year.
For visitors, the useful distinction is simple: Sindoor Khela is one part of the Dashami programme, not the whole day. At BSS, the confirmed 2026 sequence continues with afternoon Bhog and concludes with Shanti Jol in the evening.
