What is Durga Puja Bhog?
Bhog begins as food offered to Maa Durga and is then shared as prasad. At a community Puja, it is also a time when visitors, families, volunteers and friends sit down during the afternoon and share the experience together.
The current BSS website confirms the daily serving time but does not publish the 2026 menu. This guide therefore does not promise particular dishes, portions or serving arrangements.
Who can visit BSS?
BSS welcomes visitors whether or not they are Bengali or Sylheti. If this is your first community Durga Puja, you can come for Bhog and also spend time at the Puja or attend the confirmed programmes scheduled that day. The first-time visitor guide explains what to expect.

The Bhog window remains fixed, but the morning and evening programme changes daily:

Pushpanjali is at 9:30 AM. Bodhon, Amantran and Adhibas begin at 7:00 PM.
17 October
Pushpanjali is at 11:00 AM. The Ochin Pakhi live band is at 8:00 PM.
18 October
Pushpanjali is at 11:00 AM. DJ & Dandiya is at 7:30 PM.
19 October
Sandhi Puja is at 7:26 AM. Dhaker Tale and the Dhunuchi Competition is at 7:30 PM.
20 October
Dhamail of Unity is at 12:00 PM. Dandiya is at 7:30 PM.
21 October
Sindhur Khela is at 10:30 AM. Shanti Jol is at 7:00 PM.
